Day 184 - Celebrations

July 3

Today is a day of celebrations.... Hailie turns 7 years old today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! love, grandma

The 4th of July Parade in Kaysville with the A&MM family was fun.... especially watching the little one!

Doesn't that little wrinkled up nose remind you of another picture, another kiddie, but same adult?

Day 149 - Benefits to camping in the backyard

May 29

If it gets too cold to sleep outside.... come inside! Ali bear found a soft spot on the living room floor for the night. Audrey and I hit the jackpot at some yard sales. We purchased about $300 worth of name brand baby clothes for just $15.00.

Grandma bought Ali bear a car to putter in. Making brownies inside is quite convenient, too!

Day 148 - Camping backyard style

May 28

When you can't go to the mountains..... improvise! Backyard camping can be just as fun. The M family spent Memorial weekend camping in our back yard. The firepit, tent, outdoor camp chef, and the COLD made us feel like we were doing the real thing! The best part about it... I got to sleep in my own bed!

Day 94 - Easter treat

apr 4

Easter treat for the grandkids! Audrey, Alia and I made them a couple of days ago. I love the new neon food coloring!

After dinner, at Kelsey's, we put a candle in a lime green cupcake and sang happy birthday to Dave.

Day 93 - M&M's and General Conference

apr 3

I love General Conference! And I love M&M's! This year I discovered speckled peanut butter M&M's...... yummm! They melt in your mouth like soft butter. I filled my dish up at the beginning of the week with peanut, almond, and peanut butter M&M's. I sat on the couch watching conference eating my peanut butter M&M's today! I may be looking like the good year blimp after this Easter!

Day 45 - Still in Love?

It hasn't always been easy. In fact, it's been down right hard at times. We've had to take a break from each other off and on (thank goodness for years of Army and other family issues!). But we've managed to hang on. So love isn't always what you think it is. It's not only attraction, but it's also hopeful, optimistic, comprimising, long suffering, patient, kind, caring, understanding, forgiveness, humor, laughter, service, overlooking annoyances, endurance, extra baggage, taking the bad with the good; sorrow with the joy, and charity. So, I guess that means I'm still in love after all these years!

Happy Valentines Day Honey!
