Flowers for MOM

The Brigham City 2nd Ward gave geraniums tot he women in the ward to celebrate motherhood. Both Audrey and I received pink ones. Alia surprised her mother with a a pot of beautiful purple and white wave petunias. We had a simple meal at Audrey's after church... turkey burgers on whole wheat flat buns, potato salad, jello salad, and ice cream. It was a perfectly happy mothers day!

Day 135 - Grandma's flower garden

May 15

Every year, around Mother's Day, the kids and I weed and plant flowers in grandma's flower bed. Tera, Tianna and Savanna help Shaniel plant the colorful petunias. A much loved tradition!

Day 129 - Mothers Day greeting!

May 9

My Mothers Day this year was spent mostly traveling in the car back to Las Vegas. Dave spent the entire morning on the farm.... why am I not surprised! I was a little onry to say the least. My mothers day didn't go as expected! I'm sure glad I saw Kelsey and Audrey last night at 10:00 p.m. They were kind enough to stay up and let Dave and I go out to Kelsey's for a visit. We roasted marshmallows over their firepit and made smores.

We left later than we should have. We stopped by the house before leaving for Vegas and took these pictures. Insulation going up. A broken fitting on the wet vac located in the master bathroom. Yesterday we shut off the main water value to the house and called our guy. Really... it's a good thing we came back home! What would they do without us!
