It was cold outside today. After I got home from my pre-op eye appointment, I turned on the fireplace, filled the tub, turned on the jets, and drifted off to another land. So nice!

Up and Down the Road
September 9, 2011
Our road is a private road. It is owned by Granite. Trucks go up and down the road, to and from the gravel pit, all day long. Gears shifting, breaks screeching, and the sound of the trailers bouncing off the axles, is like a constant song all day long. The trucks run during the late Spring, through Summer, and into the Fall. We have got used to it.

Day 137 - Windmills
The ride through Spanish Fork Canyon is always so enjoyable. Recently, large windmills were placed at the head of the canyon to catch the wind.... altenative power. It is quite a site to see the massive arms spin slowly in a circle.
I stopped by Audrey's on the way home to see her and Alia. It seemed like such a long time since I had seen them. The tulips were in bloom.... beautiful!

Day 130 - pushing buttons
May 10
that is... ELEVATOR BUTTONS!
Back in Las Vegas and doing my daily ritual.
I get up.
I get dressed.
I get in the elevator.
I push the button to lobby.
I eat breakfast.
I get back in the elevator.
I push button 4.
Dave comes and picks me up for lunch.
We get in the elevator.
We push the button to lobby.
We eat lunch.
Dave drops me back off at the hotel.
I get in the elevator.
I push button 4.
Dave comes HOME and we get ready to go out for dinner.
We get in the elevator.
We push the button to lobby.
We go to dinner.
We come back, walk in the hotel lobby and smell the delicous aroma of fresh baked cookies!
We get a chocolate chip cookie for dessert... it's on the house.
We get in the elevator.
We push button 4.
We're HOME for the night!

Day 104 - Family Search
apr 14
Kelsey and I attended a "beginning" workshop on the "New Family Search" program, which was way over our head! We decided we needed to do some on-line classes before we attend anymore workshops.
Regardless of our experience, I am very excited about the new program and can't wait to learn more and get going!
Day 103 - So long... farewell!
apr 13
Yes, the camper is gone! It took several hours to load the old delapidated thing on the back of the buyer's truck (although it was free). I'm glad to get rid of it, but Dave was sad because his "pesticide shed" was gone.
I always thought Dave was "SUPERMAN"! Look at him push that camper on the back of the truck!

Day 98 - goodie bag
apr 8
Today was my 6 month dental check-up. I so look forward to it. I get my teeth cleaned and it feels so good! My teeth have been good for years. I floss about 3 times a week, but could use more diligence. The dentist sends me away with a goodie bag at every visit. My new toothbrush replaces my old one and I'm good to go again for another 6 months!

Day 91 - Joke's on who?
Day 31 - my aching back!
Day 86 - Camper for sale!
mar 27
... or rather, come and get it out of here, and it's your's free! When I married Dave, he had this camper. We went camping in it a few times., but after we purchased our farm property, we put it out there as a storage shed. We've used it and abused it, and now we just want it gone! If anyone wants a camper, it's yours!
