No Grave Left Unadorned

Wednesday, May 25, 2011

Amie was in charge of the Emery County "no grave left unadorned" project.  She solicited volunteers from all over the county to make plastic flowers for each grave.  We started our day at the Huntington Cemetery. A couple of classes from Canyon View Jr. High got out of school to help place flowers on the graves.  It was so fun to see Amie heading up such a worthwhile project.  And I was a very proud mama!

Right after we got back from the Cemetery, Amie received a phone call from Huntington Elementary.  Nicole's name was drawn out from among over 200 hundred girls, and won a mountain bike  She is showing off her new bike for us and an Excellent Attendance award.  She only missed two days of school last year.  Way to go Nicole!
