Mom didn't feel well today so we stayed home from church. We rested most of the day. I looked at some of mom's family history books and enjoyed it very much. Mom took some time and told me some stories about our family roots. I learned more on the Hamilton, Bird, Perry, and Bentley lines. A new discovery for me... we come from royalty through the Perry line. The King and Queen of France is part of our ancestry. Research has been done to 06 A.D. Amazing! I love our rich heritage on mom's side of the family and am anxious to do more research, with mom's help.

p.s. they were actually king of the franks--a kingdom that preceded france. (Heidi researched that line for one of her personal progress goals) We also connect to Edward Longshanks, King of England, through one of mom's lines.
