Here comes the Rain

The storm clouds gathered around 6:00 p.m. The sky grew dark and the rains came down. I got this picture of the rain making its way from the northwest.

It took me back home, to Carbon County, to those ferocious thunder and lightning storms followed by torrential rains. As terrifying as they were at times, I loved the show of lightning bolting across the sky and the loud sound of rolling thunder seconds later. The large expansive sky was filled with wonder and excitement. The earth seemed to echo the sound of thunder, shaking at the sound of its voice. Oh... how I loved those Spring storms!
