Day 161 - Rainbow

We've been getting a lot of rainstorms lately. After the storm, the most beautiful rainbows appear. They stretch in all their colors from the mountain tops through the freshly watered blue sky, or sometimes they expand in an arch over town, and in many cases we see double rainbows.

In this particular picture, the rainbow was rising verticle from the top of the mountain toward the sky. I cropped the picture to see just the rainbow, then I edited it with special effects features in Picnic (an awesome photo editing program).
