day 66 - bald eagles

mar 7

It's kind of hard to make them out, but there are about 15 bald eagles that make their way to a row of very large trees along the river bank just south of Bear River City.... it's an awesome sight so see them take flight. You can see two sitting on the edge of a branch three fourths of the way up. And I love the snow covered Wasatch Mountain range as their back drop. This is nature at it's finest!

that is an amazing sight.

is it snowing, raining,or foggy? or is your camera still fuzzy?

It was a little foggy, but I think my camera still has a problem. I had to zoom my camera quite a ways and that may be part of the problem, too. I have a lot to learn on operating a camera effectively.

That would be so cool to see!

15 bald eagles! Incredible. We're very excited we just got our first nesting pair close to where we live. I still haven't seen them yet, you've motivated me to try harder.

Oh, very cool.

Bear River? Is that where you are?

We have a bunch of eagles (and other birds of prey) in the Farmington area -- with Farmington Bay so nearby. I've been meaning to get out to the refuge and shoot some birds (you know, photographically -- I don't want to go to jail)
