Carson was a very brave boy today. He had heart surgery at Primary Children's Hospital. A portion of his heart was burned to prevent his heart from beating so rapidly. Modern technology is so amazing! Carson's surgery was at 8:00 a.m., he was out by 12:00 noon, and released from the hospital by evening. David, his build-a-bear dinosaur, lays near his side to provide comfort.

I hope he's doing better--does he have the same thing mom did, Atrial Fibrulation?
Technology is amazing. Not even 10 years ago you had to lay flat on your back for 8 hours in the hospital. Glad he is doing better. He had supraventricular tachycardia. A little different then A-fib. One of the electrical nodes in his heart was sending too many impulses telling it to contract causing fast heart rate.
I am glad things went well. How is he doing?
