We spent the day at Antelope Island today. It was so cold, but so worth it! Chad volunteered to take Bill's place on the turkey shoot (herding the Bison into the shoots). Thomas and Susan were there to help their dad, as well. Steven took Kelsey, I, and the kids on a personal tour. He told us about the improvements made, smarter round-up techniques, and plans for the future. It was fascinating and a great learning adventure. He took Brayden and Makaela up next to the shoot and let them pet the Bison before being released to the wide open field.... or..... the corrals for auction.
Steve's new office is very nice. I am glad he has it... well deserved.
It was so enjoyable to watch Steven on his job. He is a very good manager. He was very kind and considerate of all who were there to work and observe. There was a feeling among the workers of willingness to do a good job and respect for Steven. Dad would be so proud!
