I missed my kids so much while gone to Price. I couldn't wait to see Ben and Alia. I was a little worried that Ben would forget me a little. All my fears vanished when I knocked on the door. Audrey had Ben in her arms, and he jumped for joy with a huge grin on his face. He missed grandma!! He did his little blink at me, jumped up and down, and told me lots of stories. He had lots of catching up to do. He likes to stand up on my lap and stomp his feet, clench his fists, blink his eyes, and talk in only a way grandma can understand!
Alia said, "grandma, grandma!", running and jumping in my arms. She missed me, too! Oh, how happy was my heart! I enjoyed a couple of hours of reading, playing, and just catching up on the kid's doings. A week isn't long to be gone, but seems like an eternity without the little ones. It's good to be home.
