ReAL Salt Lake
Steve's family took me to a ReAL's Soccer game in Sandy today. We met at the city offices and walked a couple of miles to the stadium. We stood around for another hour waiting to get in the gates. Got to our seats.... yeah! It was very hot, but we had our water. It was a long game. The band was just above us and they beat on those drums the whole entire time. Rather annoying! REAL finally scored the last two minutes of the game and that made it all worth it! (actually, it was being with the kids that made it worth it) Score 1 to 0.

Celebration!!!! There's a lot of red. Guess you know what color REAL's uniforms are.

what a fun adventure. did you see the guy break his ankle?
Yes, we did him slip and go down. He was being attended to for a while, so we knew he must of got hurt. When the stretcher was brought in, it was even more evident of the seriousness of his injuries. I didn't see what actually happened until I watched the news later in the evening. I couldn't believe the break! It was plain wicked. So much pain!! He's going to be out of the play for quite some time. It reminded of the time when I broke my wrist - my bone went one way and my hand went another way. Gross!
