Library Day

Audrey, the kiddos and I went to the Library today. Audrey usually goes every other week to check out books for her and Alia. Today, I went with and checked some books out on the Golden Spike and other Old West story books. I am getting ready for a traveling suitcase adventure this Friday with Kelsey, Audrey and the kids. It's free National Park this week and we are going out to Promitory Point to visit the Golden Spike. We have some fun activities planned. I wish the other kids lived closer! But then.... they have the desert! I have missed that for years now. Maybe someday.

Alia has been saying some cute phrases lately...... on the way to the Library she said, "that's pretty neat!" And one of her favorite sayings is, "I love it!". When she wants something like a drinking cup or dry diaper, she says, "I want a fresh..." You can tell who she's been listening to.... her mother! And Ben has started something new. He deliberatly tries to laugh. It is so funny. He'll be lying down on his back, playing with his hands or something, and pretty soon you hear him doing the laugh sound. He is so happy all the time. He makes me laugh. Mine and Ben's favorite thing to do together is PAT-A-CAKE. I love having the kids close to me. It's joy beyond measure!
