For one of my value experience in Faith, I had to live a gospel principle for 3 weeks and then give a Family Home Evening lesson on it. I chose to live the Sabbath Day holy. I gave my FHE lesson at Kelsey's house. For part of my lesson, I gave the kids a Sunday Can, to fill with strips of paper that had appropriate sunday activities written on them.
It is amazing how many temptations entered my mind to keep me from observing the Sabbath the way the Lord intended. I learned a lot about myself during the last few weeks. I am not immune from temptation. I had to constantly bring my mind and thoughts back to where it needed to be.
Some good things.... I consiously kept a prayer in my heart at all times. I concentrated more during the Sacrament and turned my thoughts to my Savior and the atonement. My prayers were more heartfelt. I felt close to the spirit.

I just attended the YW open house in Salt Lake. Sis Dalton talked about how she loves the sacrament. She uses it to evaluate her life. After it is over she take out a small notebook and records all the thoughts and feelings she had during the sacrament. She said the important thing is to act upon those thoughts. I thought it was a good idea. It was a very wonderful open house. The spirit was very strong.
My kids were so wild today. I reminded them of your lesson and no laughing. They just thought that was funny!
