Day 62 - An itch that doesn't quit!

mar 3
Killer itch! The itch that just wouldn't quit last night. Have you ever had an itch that felt like it was underneath your skin and you can't get to it? Well, the toe next to my big toe woke me up in the middle of the night itching like no other. I couldn't stop the itch. It was maddening!
Another thing that sends me shooting out of bed in the middle of the night are those blasted charlie horses. I can hardly get out of bed because my foot or my leg is cramping and twisting into positions I never thought possible. Oh.... the pain! And it takes a good walk all over the house, a few minutes to a half hour, to get the knots to ease up. The Mr. becomes semi-conscious when I do the blood curtailing yelp, but doesn't quite wake up enough to offer any kind of sympathy. So, I'm on my own. Ever get those? Young ens..... just wait!

Itches on the feet are the worst! When I am pregnant I get charlie horses so easy. I am always waking up in the middle of the night with one because I stretched my foot or leg just a little bit too much!

Sorry! I hope it is better now.

Yep. I am getting the charlie horses now. I guess we'll be up walking the floors together!

keep an eye on that Carol, that's part of the trouble I've been having the last 4 years. The medication the doctor perscribed for the neuropathy has completely stopped the Charlie Horses and the burning and itching are tolerable now. The pain has also decreased. Keep testing your sugar, I had those symptoms long before the sugar got high.

I hate when you have an itch that wont go away.

I get those leg cramps now because I am pregnant. When you feel them coming on if you pull your toes towards your head, i.e. don't point your toe it can help

I get an itch right next to my left armpit, and one right in the middle of my back -- the only place that I absolutely cannot reach.

I don't get Charlie Horses yet, but I have aching bunyons -- does that count?
